these photos were shot during the 5th dolphin bycatch campaign by sea shepherd on the sam simon on the atlantic ocean.
for two months the crew of the sam simon has done more than 50 patrols. we observed gill netters and trawlers to document and track illegal fishing devices which lead to the enormous bycatch of dolphins, crabs,
squids, porpoise and a lot more marine wildlife.

the ocean is not only the home for more than 2 million different species and therefore worth to protect and to safe. it is one of the main crucial points which decides whether we are going to live or die.

all photos belong to sea shepherd.
